Ingredients
- 250 ml (1 cup) butter
- 125 ml (½ cup) sugar
- 375 ml (1 ½ cups) brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 pinches salt
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) vanilla extract
- 625 ml (2 ½ cups) flour
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) baking soda
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) baking powder
- Your choice of chocolate, nuts, dried fruit...
Preparation
- Whisk butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and salt in a bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in vanilla, flour, baking soda and baking powder.
- Add chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruit or any other ingredient of your choice to flavor the cookies.
- Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 180°C (350°F).
- Shape dough into balls the size of a small ping-pong ball.
- On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat, spread the dough balls and bake for about 10 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
