Maple croutons

Ingredients

  • 90 ml (6 tablespoons) maple syrup
  • 90 ml (6 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ baguette, very thinly sliced

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven, rack in center, to 200° C (400° F).
  2. In a bowl, using a spatula, stir the maple syrup into the butter.
  3. Dip bread slices in mixture.
  4. Place bread slices on a silicone-coated baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
