Asian-style chicken stir-fry with grilled onions

Cooking time : 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 onions, cut into 8 pieces
  • 60 ml (4 tablespoons) fat of your choice (butter, oil or Mycryo cocoa butter)
  • 3 Québec chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 250 ml (1 cup) dry white wine
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) sugar
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) soy sauce
  • 5 ml (1 tsp.) SambalOelek hot sauce
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 broccoli, grated
  • 4 portions rice noodles, cooked
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a hot skillet, sauté the onions in the fat of your choice for 3 to 4 minutes, turning occasionally.
  2. Add the chicken and sauté for a further 2 minutes.
  3. Add the white wine, sugar, soy sauce and Sambal Oelek and reduce by half. Add pepper and broccoli, and mix well.
  4. Serve with rice noodles.
