Tuna tartare with black olives and capers

Tartare de thon aux olives noires et câpres

Ingredients

  • 130 g fresh tuna, cut into small cubes
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) black olives, finely chopped
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) capers, drained
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) fresh lemon juice
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preparing the tuna: Place the tuna cubes in a bowl.
  2. Mixing the ingredients: In the bowl with the tuna, add the black olives, capers, lemon juice, parsley and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently to coat the tuna with all the ingredients.
  3. Serving: Serve the tuna tartare very fresh, accompanied by slices of toasted baguette for a crispy texture. You can also present it with a rocket salad for a touch of freshness.
