FOIE GRAS BONBONS WITH MAPLE SLIVERS
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Cooking time : 15 to 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) maple syrup
- 200 g (7 oz) foie gras or terrine of your choice, cubed
- ¼ baguette bread, very thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 200° C (400° F).
- Whisk maple syrup, salt and pepper into butter in a bowl.
- Dip bread slices in mixture.
- Place bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat, and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Allow to cool.
- Place the croutons in a plastic bag and crush coarsely.
- Roll the cubes of foie gras into balls with your hands.
- Then roll the balls in the croutons.
- Set aside in the fridge before serving.
