Ingredients
- 1 whole 450-g Brie
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) fresh blueberries
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) chopped bacon
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) maple syrup
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) chopped pecans or other nuts
- 1 pinch of herbes de Provence
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy.
- Drain off the excess fat, then add the blueberries, maple syrup, and herbes de Provence.
- Cook for 2 to 3 minutes to lightly burst the blueberries and achieve a glossy, luscious texture.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the Brie in a small ovenproof dish, then top it with the blueberry and bacon mixture. Sprinkle the walnuts on top.
- Bake for about 15 minutes or until the center is nice and melted.
- Serve immediately with toasted bread or croutons.
