HALLOUMI BURGER WITH GRILLED PEACHES
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 5 minutes - Cooking time : 6 to 8 minutesIngredients
- 4 burger buns
 - 4 large slices Halloumi cheese (1' thick)
 - 90 ml (6 tablespoons) olive oil
 - 1 red onion, sliced
 - 2 peaches, cut into 8 pieces
 - 60 ml (4 tbsp) honey
 - 5 ml (1 tsp.) Tabasco sauce
 - 60 ml (4 tbsp.) mayonnaise
 - 30 ml (2 tbsp.) chives, snipped
 - 30 ml (2 tbsp.) basil leaves, chopped
 - 4 lettuce leaves
 - 8 thin slices tomato
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 
Preparation
- Preheat barbecue to maximum
 - Brush cheese slices with a little olive oil.
 - In a bowl, combine the red onion, peaches, remaining olive oil, salt and pepper.
 - Grill the cheese slices and onion-peach mixture on a barbecue grill or baking mat for easy grilling, 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
 - Lightly toast the breads.
 - In a bowl, combine honey and hot sauce.
 - In another bowl, mix mayonnaise, chives and basil.
 - Spread herb mayonnaise on bottom of each burger bun, then lettuce leaves, cheese slices, honey and hot sauce mixture, tomatoes and top of each burger bun.
