Quebec Frosé Cocktail

July is strawberry season in Quebec. They're bright red, plump, and flavorful. They'll be perfect for this frosty cocktail with rosé wine.

This recipe must be prepared the day before and requires a blender.

For 6 glasses

  • 1 bottle of rosé wine
  • 1 glass of lemonade
  • 1 small punnet of Quebec strawberries
  • A few sprigs of fresh mint, lime slices and strawberries to garnish the glasses

Preparation

  1. The day before (or even better, a few days before), pour the rosé into an ice cube mold and put it in the freezer.
  2. On the big day, wash and hull the strawberries. Place them in a blender with the glass of lemonade. Add the rosé ice cubes and blend.
  3. Divide the cocktail among wine glasses, add a straw and garnish to taste with mint sprigs, strawberries and lime slices on the rim of the glass.
  4. Serve immediately and drink chilled.
