VEGAN CRETON
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 5 minutes - Cooking : 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) nutmeg, ground
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) cinnamon, ground
- 1 pinch cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) firm tofu, cubed
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) cooked brown lentils (canned)
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) breadcrumbs
- 500 ml (2 cups) vegetable broth
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a hot skillet, brown the onion in a little oil for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add garlic, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf, tofu, lentils and broth and reduce over low heat. Mash, if necessary, with a fork. Check seasoning.
- Fill a terrine container and refrigerate.
