PASTA GRATIN WITH ASPARAGUS AND BACON
Portions : 4 - Preparation time : 10 minutes - Cooking time : 25 minutes
Ingredients
- 4 portions pasta, cooked
- 1 bunch asparagus
- 1 shallot, chopped
- 60 ml (4 tablespoons) fat of your choice (butter, oil or Mycryo cocoa butter)
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 lemon, juice
- 2 cups béchamel sauce
- 8 slices bacon, chopped and cooked
- 500 ml (2 cups) cheddar cheese, grated
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) breadcrumbs
Preparation
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 200°C (400°F).
- Clean the asparagus and cut off 1/4 of the length of the stalks, which should be discarded.
- Cut the asparagus into small sections.
- In a hot pan, sauté the shallot in the fat of your choice for 2 minutes. Add the asparagus, garlic and lemon juice and sauté for a further 2 minutes.
- In a bowl, add the pasta, béchamel sauce, prepared asparagus, bacon, 250 ml (1 cup) cheese and mix. Check seasoning.
- Place the mixture in an ovenproof dish, cover with the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs. Bake for 20 minutes.
