Ingredients
- 2 tbsp (10 g) dried hibiscus flowers
- 1 cup (250 ml) boiling water
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) maple syrup
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 cup (250 ml) vodka
- 2 cups (500 ml) sparkling wine
- 1 cup (250 ml) sparkling water
- 2 cups ice cubes
- Lime slices, for garnish
Preparation
- Place the hibiscus flowers in a bowl and pour the boiling water over them. Let steep for 10 minutes, then strain and let cool.
- Add the maple syrup and lime juice to the hibiscus infusion. Stir to combine.
- Fill 4 large glasses with ice cubes.
- Divide the vodka and the hibiscus mixture among the glasses.
- Add the sparkling wine, then top off with sparkling water.
- Stir gently, garnish with lime slices, and serve immediately.
