Hibiscus Spritz

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp (10 g) dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 cup (250 ml) boiling water
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) maple syrup
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 cup (250 ml) vodka
  • 2 cups (500 ml) sparkling wine
  • 1 cup (250 ml) sparkling water
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • Lime slices, for garnish

Preparation

  1. Place the hibiscus flowers in a bowl and pour the boiling water over them. Let steep for 10 minutes, then strain and let cool.
  2. Add the maple syrup and lime juice to the hibiscus infusion. Stir to combine.
  3. Fill 4 large glasses with ice cubes.
  4. Divide the vodka and the hibiscus mixture among the glasses.
  5. Add the sparkling wine, then top off with sparkling water.
  6. Stir gently, garnish with lime slices, and serve immediately.
