Ingredients
- 1 liter (4 cups) frozen cubed watermelon
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) fresh lime juice
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) fresh mint leaves
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) honey
- 1 pinch of salt
- 90 ml (6 tablespoons) tequila or white rum (optional)
- Ice cubes, if needed
- Lime wedges and mint leaves for serving
Preparation
- Cut the watermelon into cubes and remove any seeds.
- Place the cubes on a baking sheet or in a container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
- Place the frozen watermelon in a blender with the lime juice, mint, honey, and a pinch of salt.
- Add the tequila or rum, if desired. Blend until smooth and icy.
- Add a few ice cubes if you prefer a thicker consistency.
- Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with mint leaves and lime wedges.
