Cook time: 5 to 8 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 JG Classic Pizza Dough
- 1 150-g package of Boursin cheese
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) honey
- 90 ml (6 tbsp) olive oil
- 125 ml (1 cup) sliced pepperoni
- 250 ml (2 cups) torn lettuce
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) red wine vinegar
- 1 French shallot, finely minced
- 125 ml (1 cup) cherry tomatoes, halved
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat the pizza oven or conventional oven to 550°F maximum. If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating. Otherwise, place two upside-down cookie sheets in the oven so they can build up heat.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured work surface.
- In a bowl, mix the Boursin with the honey and some of the olive oil until you get a smooth, spreadable texture.
- Spread the mixture over the entire surface of the dough, leaving a small border.
- Add the pepperoni slices on top.
- Place the pizza directly on the hot stone or on the preheated baking sheets and bake for 5 to 8 minutes, depending on the oven, until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
- While the pizza is baking, combine the lettuce, shallot, cherry tomatoes, vinegar, and remaining olive oil in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- As soon as it comes out of the oven, top the pizza with the crisp salad, slice it, and serve immediately.
