- 15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil
- 300 g beef sirloin
- 125 ml (½ cup) mayonnaise
- 125 ml (½ cup) grated carrot
- 125 ml (½ cup) cucumber, julienned
- 60 ml (¼ cup) fresh cilantro
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) toasted sesame seeds

Asian glaze
30 ml (2 tbsp) soy sauce
30 ml (2 tbsp) honey
15 ml (1 tbsp) sesame oil
15 ml (1 tbsp) rice vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
5 ml (1 tsp) fresh grated ginger
Preparation
- Remove the JG pizza dough from the refrigerator after letting it rest for 24 hours, and let it come to room temperature for 1 to 2 hours on the counter.
- Roll out the dough into a large round or oval shape.
- Pour the olive oil into the center, then fold the dough over itself to form a tightly sealed sandwich.
- Bake in a preheated pizza oven for 3 to 5 minutes, until the dough is well puffed, golden brown, and cooked through, or bake in an oven preheated to 550°F for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Mix the ingredients for the Asian glaze.
- Brush the sirloin generously with the glaze and grill it on the barbecue or in a very hot skillet.
- While cooking, brush the meat again with the glaze.
- Let rest for a few minutes, then slice thinly.
- Once out of the oven, carefully open the bun.
- Spread mayonnaise on the inside, add the steak slices, carrot, cucumber, and cilantro.
- Drizzle with the remaining glaze if desired, garnish with sesame seeds, season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve immediately.
