Salmon with lemon

LEMON SALMON

Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Cooking : 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon steaks
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) olive oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 125 ml (½ cup) vegetable stock
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp.) unsalted butter
  • 4 lemons, juice and zest.
  • 60 ml (4 tbsp.) maple syrup
  • 2 pinches herbes de Provence blend
  • 4 portions fresh pasta, cooked
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a hot skillet, sear the salmon steaks in olive oil for 2 minutes on each side. Set aside on a plate.
  2. In the same pan, sauté the onion for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic, stock, butter, lemon juice and zest, maple syrup, herbes de Provence and reduce slightly.
  4. Add the salmon and cook for a further 4 to 5 minutes. Add the pasta and serve.
