LEMON SALMON
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Cooking : 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 4 salmon steaks
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) olive oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 125 ml (½ cup) vegetable stock
- 45 ml (3 tbsp.) unsalted butter
- 4 lemons, juice and zest.
- 60 ml (4 tbsp.) maple syrup
- 2 pinches herbes de Provence blend
- 4 portions fresh pasta, cooked
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a hot skillet, sear the salmon steaks in olive oil for 2 minutes on each side. Set aside on a plate.
- In the same pan, sauté the onion for 2 minutes.
- Add the garlic, stock, butter, lemon juice and zest, maple syrup, herbes de Provence and reduce slightly.
- Add the salmon and cook for a further 4 to 5 minutes. Add the pasta and serve.
