CRANBERRY AND WHITE CHOCOLATE SCONES
Portions : 4 - Preparation : 15 minutes - Cooking time : 25 to 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 1l (4 cups) flour
 - 30 ml (2 tablespoons) baking powder
 - 5 ml (1 teaspoon) salt
 - 125 ml (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, coarsely cubed
 - 1 lemon, zest and ½ juice
 - 125 ml (1/2 cup) sugar
 - 125 ml (1/2 cup) dried cranberries
 - 125 ml (1/2 cup) white chocolate chips
 - 375 ml (1 ½ cups) milk
 
Topping
- Melted butter
 - Powdered sugar for decoration
 
Preparation
- Preheat oven, rack in center, to 180°C (350°F).
 - In a bowl, using fingertips, combine flour, baking powder, salt, butter, lemon zest and sugar.
 - Stir in cranberries, white chocolate chips, lemon juice and milk.
 - On the work surface, using your fingertips, crush the ball of dough to form a cylinder, then cut out triangles in equal parts.
 - On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat, arrange the triangles of dough. Using a knife, cut out two triangles for each one, brush with melted butter and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the scones are golden brown.
 - Remove from the oven, leave to cool, then sprinkle the top with powdered sugar.
