Ingredients
- 2 cups (300 g) fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
- 1 cup (250 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ½ cup (125 ml) maple syrup
- 12 fresh basil leaves
- 3 cups (750 ml) cold water
- 2 cups ice cubes
- A few fresh strawberries and basil leaves, for garnish
Preparation
- Place the strawberries, lemon juice, maple syrup, and basil leaves in the blender jar.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a large pitcher, add the cold water, and stir.
- Taste and adjust with a little maple syrup or lemon juice, if needed.
- Fill 4 glasses with ice cubes, pour in the lemonade, and garnish with strawberries and basil leaves.
- Serve well chilled.
