Rosé Sangria with Strawberries, Watermelon, and Basil

Sangria rosée aux fraises, melon d’eau et basilic

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) of rosé wine
  • 1 cup (250 ml) of fresh strawberries
  • ½ cup (125 ml) of vodka
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 2 cups (300 g) watermelon, cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup (150 g) fresh strawberries, quartered
  • 12 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup (250 ml) sparkling water
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Preparation

  1. Place 1 cup of strawberries, the vodka, and the lime juice in the blender jar. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a large pitcher and add the rosé wine.
  3. Add the watermelon cubes, quartered strawberries, and basil leaves. Stir gently.
  4. Cover and let sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. Just before serving, add the sparkling water and stir gently.
  6. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour in the sangria, and garnish with a few pieces of fruit from the pitcher.
