Ingredients
- 1 Artesano Roasted Garlic Baguette
- 2.4 fl oz (4 tablespoons) olive oil
- 2.4 fl oz (4 tablespoons) sesame seeds
- 8.8 oz (250 g) fresh tuna, cubed
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) tahini (sesame paste)
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) honey
- 60 ml (4 tbsp) red bell pepper, finely diced
- 5 ml (1 tsp) Tabasco sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) with the rack in the middle position.
- Cut the baguette into small sticks.
- In a bowl, combine the sticks, olive oil, sesame seeds, and a little salt and pepper.
- Spread the sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat and bake for
- 10 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the tuna, tahini, lime juice, honey, bell pepper, Tabasco sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Place the tuna tartare in the center of each large soup plate and arrange the bread sticks around it.
