Ingredients
- 2 cups (about 300 g) cooked, shredded chicken breast
- 6 slices of bacon
- 750 ml (3 cups) crisp lettuce (romaine or iceberg), finely chopped
- 180 ml (¾ cup) grated or shaved Parmesan cheese
- (125 ml) ½ cup Caesar dressing
- 1 baguette, sliced and toasted
Preparation
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp, then place it on paper towels and crumble it.
- Lightly reheat the shredded chicken.
- In a bowl, toss the chicken with the Caesar dressing.
- In a serving dish (or shallow platter), spread the chicken mixture as the first layer.
- Add a layer of chopped lettuce on top.
- Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over the salad.
- Add the Parmesan as the final layer.
- Serve immediately with the toasted baguette slices for dipping.
