Bibimbap is a traditional Korean dish. It consists of rice, marinated meat, stir-fried vegetables, and an egg.
Ingredients (for 4 people)
- 1 L of cooked jasmine rice
- 160 g of fresh salmon cut into strips
- 125 ml soy sauce
- 125 ml sesame oil
- 125 ml of sugar
- 4 pinches of hot paprika
- 8 radishes, cut into thin slices
- 1 avocado, thinly sliced
- 2 spring onions, chopped
- 16 cherry tomatoes, quartered
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 pinches of roasted sesame seeds
Preparation
- In a bowl, prepare the marinade with half of the soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and paprika. Add the salmon strips, mix, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Prepare the sauce with the remaining soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar.
- In 4 large bowls, place the still warm rice in the bottom.
- Then add each vegetable next to the other, then the marinated salmon.
- Place the egg yolk in the center and sprinkle with sesame seeds. If you have fresh herbs, add them.
- Serve with the sauce.
