This brownie is downright decadent! Rich with chocolate and butter, slightly crisp on the outside but totally gooey on the inside. Because there are some things you just don't mess around with!
For 25 pieces of brownies
Ingredients
- 340 g of dark baking chocolate
 - 300 g of unsalted butter
 - 4 eggs
 - 320 g brown sugar
 - 2 pinches of fleur de sel
 - 1 cup flour (140 g)
 - 1 cup roasted pecans.
 
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.
 - Melt the chocolate with the butter in a double boiler or in the microwave in a bowl.
 - Add the brown sugar and mix with a whisk.
 - Add the eggs one by one.
 - Add the fleur de sel and flour and mix until you obtain a smooth dough.
 - Add the coarsely chopped pecans.
 - Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured mold (mold dimensions: 30 cm × 20 cm).
 - Bake for about 30 minutes.
 - Remove from the oven, let cool for a few moments then unmold.
 - Cut into squares and serve warm or cold, with vanilla ice cream or custard.
