Cooking time : 8 to 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 ball of pizza dough
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) tomato sauce
- 250 ml (1 cup) grated cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 6 medium white mushrooms
- A few black olives
- 1 slice of cheddar or marble cheese
- A little flour to roll out the dough
- Salt and pepper to taste
Herbal oil
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 clove of garlic
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) white balsamic vinegar
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) olive oil
- 5 ml (1 tsp) honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 290°C (550°F) or to the highest possible oven temperature.
- To prepare the herb oil: in a small container, add the parsley, garlic, white balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, salt, pepper and puree using the hand blender until smooth.
- On a floured work surface, roll out the pizza dough very thinly, then cut out circles of about 10cm (4in) using a cookie cutter.
- Place the circles of pasta on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Brush each circle with a little herb oil.
- Next, add the cold tomato sauce, then sprinkle with grated cheese, according to taste.
- Cut the mushrooms in half.
- Using the tip of a knife, carve the half-mushrooms to form small skulls: two eyes, a nose and striations in the stem for the mouth.
- Place the skulls on each mini pizza.
- For a change, make small spiders with chopped black olives or cut Halloween shapes (pumpkin, ghost, etc.) out of a slice of cheese to place on top.
- Bake in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until the pastry is golden and crispy.
- Serve hot and have fun decorating them before enjoying!
