Crispy Shrimp Tacos

Ingredients

  • 400 g breaded butterfly shrimp
  • 8 tortillas
  • 250 ml (1 cup) diced mango
  • 250 ml (1 cup) cooked rice
  • 250 ml (1 cup) shredded green cabbage or arugula
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) mayonnaise
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) hot sauce
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) lemon juice
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Preparation

  1. Cook the breaded butterfly shrimp in the oven or deep fryer according to package directions until crispy.
  2. Meanwhile, mix the mayonnaise with the hot sauce and lemon juice, then season to taste.
  3. Warm the tortillas for a few seconds in a skillet or in the microwave.
  4. Top each tortilla with a little rice, add the crispy shrimp, mango, cabbage, or arugula, then drizzle with spicy mayonnaise. Serve immediately.
