Ingredients
Shrimp
- 24 31/40 shrimp, peeled
- 90 ml (6 tbsp) olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 5 ml (1 tsp) sweet paprika
- 1 lemon, juice
- 8 hot dog brioche buns
- 60 ml (4 tbsp) mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
Strawberry salsa
- 250 ml (1 cup) strawberries, cubed
- 250 ml (1 cup) diced tomatoes
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) chopped shallot
- 2 green onion stalks, chopped
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat a skillet. In the hot olive oil, add the shrimp, garlic, sweet paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Grill the shrimp until cooked through and lightly browned.
- Remove the shrimp from the pan and let them cool.
- In a bowl, mix the shrimp and mayonnaise.
- Divide the shrimp among the hot dog buns.
- In another bowl, combine the strawberry and tomato cubes, shallot, green onion, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper to combine all ingredients well.
- Top the buns with strawberry salsa.
- Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing and delicious dish.
