Ingredients
- 250 ml (1 cup) smoked meat, chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) strong mustard
- 4 hot dog brioche buns
- 60 ml (4 tbsp) blueberry jam
- 250 ml (1 cup) grated cheddar cheese
- 4 hot dogs
- Cooking oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preheat the barbecue or oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a pan, brown the smoked meat, onion and garlic in a drizzle of oil until golden.
- Add the strong mustard, mix and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Spread the inside of each brioche bun with blueberry jam, then top with the grated cheddar cheese.
- Place the open buns on a baking sheet or directly on the barbecue grill to melt the cheese, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Grill the hot dogs.
- Top each bun with a sausage, then spread the smoked meat mixture on top.
- Serve immediately.
