Chicken Caesar Pizza Sandwich

Ingredients

Toppings

  • 4 to 6 cooked chicken tenders
  • 8 slices of bacon, crispy and crumbled
  • 1 liter (4 cups) romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 125 ml (½ cup) Caesar dressing
  • 125 ml (½ cup) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) capers, drained
  • 125 ml (½ cup) additional Caesar dressing, for serving
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Preparation

  1. Remove the JG pizza dough from the refrigerator after resting for 24 hours and let it come to room temperature for 1 to 2 hours on the counter.
  2. Roll out the dough into a large disc or oval.
  3. Pour the olive oil into the center, then fold the dough over itself to form a tightly sealed sandwich.
  4. Bake in a preheated pizza oven for 3 to 5 minutes, until the dough is puffed, golden, and cooked through, or bake in a preheated 550°F oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Reheat the chicken tenders according to the package directions.
  6. In a bowl, toss the romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing, Parmesan, and capers.
  7. Once out of the oven, carefully open the dough sandwich.
  8. Generously top with chicken tenders, add the crispy bacon, then place the Caesar salad on top.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately with the remaining Caesar dressing on the side.
