You can prepare this salad a few hours before eating, the taste will be even better.
Ingredients (for 4 people)
For the salad
- 1 small red cabbage
 - 3 Cortland apples
 - 1 clove of grated garlic
 - 3 finely chopped green onions
 - 1 halloumi cheese
 - salt / pepper
 - 8 tablespoons cranberry, honey and sesame vinaigrette
 - 4 tablespoons of maple syrup
 - 1 teaspoon chili paste (only if desired and chili is to your liking)
 
For the dressing
- 60 ml canola oil
 - 60 ml of cranberry juice
 - 30 ml of apple cider vinegar
 - 45 ml of honey
 - 30 ml sesame oil
 - 45 ml of soy sauce
 - 10 ml grated fresh ginger
 - 10 ml onion powder
 - pepper to taste
 
Preparation
- Cut the halloumi cheese into cubes, pat dry, and dry-grill it in a pan over medium heat. Set aside.
 - Cut the cabbage into 4 and grate it.
 - Peel the 3 apples and cut them into small cubes. Add them to the shredded cabbage along with the green onions and garlic.
 - Add the grilled halloumi cheese.
 - In a small bowl, combine all the dressing ingredients. Add hot sauce to taste. Add to the cabbage and mix well.
