Ingredients
- 12 slices of bacon, cut into small pieces
- 8 tablespoons (120 ml) olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 5 ml (1 tsp) chili flakes
- 250 ml (1 cup) grated carrot
- 1 onion, chopped
- 750 ml (3 cups) tomato puree
- 1 bunch of parsley, chopped
- 4 portions of spaghetti, cooked al dente
- 500 ml (2 cups) cheese curds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- In a skillet, cook the bacon pieces until crispy. Set aside on paper towels.
- In a pan, heat the olive oil and add the garlic and chili flakes and let it infuse for 1 minute.
- Add the carrot and onion and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the tomato puree, reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the parsley and check the seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well.
- Add the bacon and cheese curds and mix. Serve immediately.
