Swiss Plum Tart

This recipe can be made with any type of fruit, preferably fresh, to avoid having too much juice.

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 75 g melted butter
  • 80 g of sugar
  • 125 g of flour
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 5 ml baking powder
  • 300g pitted and halved plums

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F / 180°C.
  2. In a bowl, add all the ingredients (except the fruit) and mix with a whisk until you obtain a smooth paste.
  3. Butter and lightly flour a cake tin or pie dish. Pour in the batter and arrange the plums on top.
  4. Bake for about 25 minutes (pierce with a knife to check if cooked).
  5. Remove from the oven, let cool in the tin and sprinkle lightly with icing sugar when serving.
