This recipe can be made with any type of fruit, preferably fresh, to avoid having too much juice.
Ingredients for 4 people
- 75 g melted butter
- 80 g of sugar
- 125 g of flour
- 2 whole eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 5 ml baking powder
- 300g pitted and halved plums
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F / 180°C.
- In a bowl, add all the ingredients (except the fruit) and mix with a whisk until you obtain a smooth paste.
- Butter and lightly flour a cake tin or pie dish. Pour in the batter and arrange the plums on top.
- Bake for about 25 minutes (pierce with a knife to check if cooked).
- Remove from the oven, let cool in the tin and sprinkle lightly with icing sugar when serving.
