Pizza with mortadella and burrata

Pizza à la mortadelle et burrata

Ingredients

Toppings

  • 125 ml (½ cup) pizza sauce
  • 125 g mortadella, coarsely torn
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) red onion, finely chopped
  • 250 ml (1 cup) cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 burrata
  • 500 ml (2 cups) arugula
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) spiced honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Remove the JG pizza dough from the refrigerator after resting for 24 hours and let it come to room temperature for 1 to 2 hours on the counter.
  2. Roll out the dough into a round disc.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce over the surface, leaving a small border.
  4. Add the mortadella, red onion, and cherry tomatoes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake in a preheated pizza oven for 3 to 5 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and cooked through, or bake in an oven preheated to 550°F for 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. Once out of the oven, place the burrata in the center of the pizza and season generously with salt and pepper.
  8. Add the arugula, drizzle with spiced honey, and serve immediately.
