Saint-Jean Pizza

Pizza de la Saint-Jean

Ingredients

Topping

  • 125 ml (½ cup) béchamel sauce
  • 125 ml (½ cup) fresh blueberries
  • 125 ml (½ cup) cooked and chopped bacon
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) onion, finely minced
  • 125 g fresh mozzarella, sliced
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Preparation

  1. Remove the JG pizza dough from the refrigerator after letting it rest for 24 hours, and let it come to room temperature for 1 to 2 hours on the counter.
  2. Roll out the dough into a round.
  3. Spread the béchamel sauce over the surface, leaving a small border.
  4. Add the blueberries, bacon, onion, and mozzarella slices.
  5. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake in a preheated pizza oven for 3 to 5 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted, or bake in an oven preheated to 550°F for 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. Once out of the oven, drizzle with a light drizzle of maple syrup and serve immediately.
