Ingredients
- 1 ball of JG pizza dough
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil
Toppings
- 2 beef patties
- 4 slices of processed cheddar or American cheese
- 250 ml (1 cup) shredded iceberg lettuce
- 60 ml (¼ cup) dill pickles, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Burger-style sauce
- 125 ml (½ cup) mayonnaise
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) relish
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) ketchup
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) yellow mustard
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) finely chopped onion
- 5 ml (1 tsp) white vinegar
- 1 pinch paprika
Preparation
- Remove the JG pizza dough from the refrigerator after letting it rest for 24 hours, and let it come to room temperature for 1 to 2 hours on the counter.
- Roll out the dough into a large round or oval shape.
- Pour the olive oil into the center, then fold the dough over itself to form a tightly sealed sandwich.
- Bake in a preheated pizza oven for 3 to 5 minutes, until the dough is well puffed, golden brown, and cooked through, or bake in a preheated oven at 550°F for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine all the ingredients for the burger-style sauce in a bowl.
- Grill the beef patties to your desired doneness and season with salt and pepper.
- Once out of the oven, carefully open the dough sandwich.
- Generously spread the burger-style sauce on the inside.
- Place the beef patties, add the cheese slices, lettuce, and pickles.
- Close slightly and serve immediately.
