Smoked Salmon Pizza Sandwich

Ingredients

Toppings

  • 125 ml (½ cup) cream cheese
  • 125 g smoked salmon, sliced
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) capers, drained
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, thinly sliced
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) honey
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Preparation

  1. Remove the JG pizza dough from the refrigerator after resting for 24 hours and let it come to room temperature for 1 to 2 hours on the counter.
  2. Roll out the dough into a large disc or oval.
  3. Pour the olive oil into the center, then fold the dough over itself to form a tightly sealed sandwich.
  4. Bake in a preheated pizza oven for 3 to 5 minutes, until the dough is puffed, golden, and cooked through, or bake in a preheated oven at 550°F for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Once out of the oven, carefully open the dough sandwich.
  6. Spread the inside with cream cheese.
  7. Add the capers, red onion, tomato slices seasoned with salt and pepper, and then the smoked salmon.
  8. Drizzle with a little honey and finish with fresh dill.
  9. Serve immediately.
